Officials with Lorain Raceway Park and Painesville Speedway have announced a new pricing structure for Pit Pass pricing in 2025. Drivers, Crew Members and Fans are encouraged to join the NEOhio Racing Association, which includes a membership to race at both tracks.
Drivers & Crew Members joining the NEOhio Racing Association (NORA) will have access to discounted pit passes, track rental fees and will be included in the Championship Points Fund. While drivers are not required to purchase a membership to race, only member drivers can earn points towards the season championship. NORA is open to any participants including pit crew members, family members and fans who want to tour the pits. Members will also be eligible for special drawings throughout the year for prizes.
“With the increase of all around operating costs including insurance, utilities, maintenance and more we felt it was necessary to increase prices this season” stated Randy Maggio, Promoter at Lorain Raceway Park and Painesville Speedway. “In this seasonal industry, it is very hard to stay afloat during the offseason with minimal to no income while bills continue to come. A “membership pass” can save regulars from the price increase while at the same time generating revenue for speedway management during slow months to pay bills and to start the season. We plan to do quite a bit of giveaways for members including merchandise, free passes and more so we give back to those who support us on a regular basis” continued Maggio.
The cost of the NEOhio Racing Association Membership will be $100 annually, all memberships will expire at the end of each calendar year.
Benefits include:
Discounted Pit Passes
Discounted Track Rental Fees
Discounted Transponder Rental Fees
Inclusion in Championship Points Fund
Access to special drawings and prizes during throughout the season
NEOhio Racing Association Membership will apply to both tracks and both points funds. The first event of the 2025 season for the NEOhio Racing Association will be the Great American Enduro on March 8th at Painesville Speedway, members will save $5 on their pit passes.
The next event at The Painesville Speedway is Saturday, March 8th; The Great American Enduro followed by Autism Awareness Opening Night on Saturday, April 19th.
