The Medina Upfit Great Lakes Truck Tour has mutually agreed with Anderson Speedway to cancel the June 7th event at Indiana’s fastest ¼ mile oval.

Officials with the tour were hopeful that the event would happen when putting together the schedule but many scheduling conflicts and other outside factors led to officials believing they could not bring the high quality show that Anderson deserves for the Tour’s debut in the Hoosier State.

The Medina Upfit Great Lakes Truck Tour is still building and has positive momentum going into the future. Officials felt the Tour would not put on a caliber show we are wanting to bring to a facility like Anderson therefore, both Anderson Speedway and Great Lakes Truck Tour felt it was best to put our efforts into making an event in 2026 the best yet.

Randy Maggio, Jr. Promoter of the Medina Upfit Great Lakes Truck Tour stated “We want to bring the best quality show to each track we visit and felt we could not meet the expectations of the amazing race fans at Anderson Speedway at this time, we look forward to 2026 and bringing the trucks back to Anderson. Rick Dawson, Jared Owen and the entire team at Anderson are great friends of mine and are great people to work with. We look forward to continuing this Tour/Track relationship for years to come.”

The Medina Upfit Great Lakes Truck Tour will be back in action Saturday, June 21 at Sandusky Speedway.
